Director of Ads Platform Strategy & Operations responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of tools and systems supporting the advertising business, with a focus on leveraging Gen AI to revolutionize campaign sales, building, and optimization. This role involves driving sales and campaign lifecycle efficiency through automation and process optimization, building platform foundations for scale, and creating self-serve tools for merchants. The position requires partnering with Product and Engineering, overseeing Ad Operations, and using data-driven decision-making to scale experiments and improve campaign delivery quality.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the overall vision, strategy, and execution of the Ads Platform S&O roadmap, covering the full sales and campaign lifecycle — from proposal and contracting through execution, invoicing, and reporting.
  2. Champion and lead the integration of Gen AI across our ads workflows, identifying high-leverage opportunities to drive scalability across the org.
  3. Partner with Sales and merchant teams to identify gaps in existing workflows; and implement, manage, and scale sales and operations via offshore resources, automation tools, and streamlined end-to-end processes.
  4. Work closely with Product and Engineering to create and execute quarterly roadmaps focused on infrastructure, tooling, and automation.
  5. Oversee Ad Operations and manage team leads to scale operations, grow offshore resources, and improve team SLAs.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy & operations, product operations, product management, business operations, management consulting, or ad operations
  • proven track record of leading highly complex, cross-functional projects and delivering results on time
  • deep expertise in process design and optimization
  • strong interest in, or direct experience with, leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to solve real business problems
  • strong leader who has managed direct reports and teams
  • exceptional analytical skills (Excel / Google Sheets / SQL)
  • proficient — and a fast learner — across a variety of tech platforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, and internal tools

Nice to have

  • experience in advertising or ad tech is strongly preferred
