Director of AI Strategy within the Office of the CEO, focusing on Microsoft's AI strategy across infrastructure, platform, and applications/agents. This role involves thought leadership, rethinking the economics of AI, and translating strategy into product reality, including M&A. The position requires influencing senior leadership and charting AI journeys for customers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identifies compelling projects and positions the team to carry them out.
  2. Leads strategy projects end-to-end, defining goals, deliverables, timelines, providing structure, guidance, and proactive problem-solving. Manages projects independently.
  3. Develops deep understanding of customers, competitors, partners, business models, market sizing, and industry trends.
  4. Dives deep into cloud and AI products and underlying tech in order to develop a position on Microsoft’s product portfolio, strategic priorities, competitive position, and potential opportunities.
  5. Creates frameworks and methodologies to drive problem solving and insights.
