What you'd actually do

  1. Establish the function's research capability, hiring and developing quantitative and mixed-methods researchers as the team grows
  2. Own the research roadmap, setting priorities across markets and aligning investment to subscriber growth, ARPU, and LTV outcomes
  3. Lead pricing and willingness-to-pay studies, conjoint analysis, segmentation, and driver modeling
  4. Shape hypotheses and customer framing for product and commerce experiments
  5. Combine third-party and primary research with first-party behavioral data to build a fuller picture of subscriber behavior

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years in consumer, product, growth, or commercial insights and research
  • Track record of influencing strategy at senior levels
  • Deep quantitative research expertise in pricing studies, conjoint, segmentation, and driver modeling
  • Complementary qualitative capability
  • Demonstrated experience in subscription, streaming, telco, ecommerce, or digital services
  • Proven leadership building and scaling insights or research teams
  • Strong executive storytelling and stakeholder influence
  • Multi-market APAC experience

Nice to have

  • Experience in streaming or entertainment
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and causal thinking
  • Experience integrating third-party and first-party data sources
