This role is for a Senior Privacy Attorney focused on global workforce privacy strategy and compliance programs. It involves advising on privacy, data protection, and AI laws as they relate to workforce data, and partnering with various teams to ensure lawful and scalable use of data. The role also includes privacy diligence for vendors processing employee data.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and scale the company’s global workforce privacy strategy and compliance programs across the full employee, contractor, and candidate data lifecycle.
  2. Develop, operationalize and oversee global workforce privacy governance and programs, including privacy notices and policies, impact assessments, records of processing, access requests, record retention, and incident response.
  3. Provide end-to-end privacy counsel support throughout the vendor lifecycle for vendors that process employee and candidate personal data, from tool evaluation through implementation and go-live, including privacy/AI diligence, contracting (DPAs and other privacy terms), privacy impact assessments/records, data retention/deletion, and updates to privacy notices and internal agreements.
  4. Advise legal teams and business partners on global privacy, data protection, and AI laws and regulations as they relate to workforce data, and translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic, risk-balanced guidance.
  5. Partner closely with Procurement Legal, Employment Legal, People, Talent Acquisition, Security, IT, Product and Engineering to ensure lawful, ethical, and scalable use of workforce data across the employee lifecycle.
