Director of Business Management for Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector, focusing on restricted programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate and lead all business management functions and collaborate with contracts, pricing, accounting, cost management, GSC finance, financial planning and program scheduling
  2. Influence multiple disciplines (Program Manager, Engineering, Operations, Global Supply Chain, etc…) to shape proposals, baselines and execution to meet financial objectives
  3. Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial program status and analyses
  4. Develop business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such as Long Range Strategic Plan and the Annual Operating Plan
  5. Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, implementation of EV reporting, program budgeting, estimate at complete development, and various financial reporting activities

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years in business management experience (financial planning/reporting, strategic planning, cost proposals, project execution/management, contracts, pricing and/or budget controls and analysis) or Master's degree in a business-related discipline with 8 years of business management experience or PhD with 6 years in business management experience
  • Direct experience as a U.S. Government contractor with significant experience in program proposals, cost and schedule control, program budgeting, accounting and financial forecasting and business case development
  • Experience with internal audit, external audit and/or other regulatory agencies
  • Strong understanding of government contracting and regulations to include FAR and CAS
  • Top-Secret Clearance
