Director, Collins Cyber Mission Support (Hybrid) at RTX, responsible for guiding, developing, and enabling the execution of the Digital cybersecurity strategy while enhancing business performance globally. This role leads a cohort of Cybersecurity & Compliance Leaders (CCLs) reporting to the CISO, ensuring consistent, business-aligned, and risk-driven outcomes for cybersecurity posture, compliance readiness, operational resilience, and mission assurance. The position also represents the business unit CISO in their absence, providing leadership coverage and operational oversight.

What you'd actually do

  1. Interact extensively across the organization and with external stakeholders, serving as a central coordination and influence point for cybersecurity matters.
  2. Engage executive leadership, IT and engineering teams, legal, compliance, privacy, risk management, internal audit, and business unit leaders, with communications focused on translating cyber risk into business impact, aligning priorities, guiding execution, and resolving issues.
  3. Communicate with regulators, auditors, customers, partners, and key vendors to articulate the organization’s security posture, address findings or concerns, negotiate requirements and plans to achieve, and build trust.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
  • Proven advanced business knowledge
  • broad cybersecurity experience across more than 1 domain
  • general management and leadership capability to lead an embedded cyber team that directly interfaces with the internal and external customers
