This leader will be responsible for building and managing high-performing operations teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of OCI services. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product, support, and business organizations to deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting Oracle's continued cloud growth.
This role requires a strong operational leader with experience managing large-scale cloud environments, developing technical talent, and driving continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and data-driven decision making.
Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing cloud operations and site reliability engineering teams.
- Establish organizational goals, priorities, and operating rhythms aligned with OCI business objectives.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop technical leaders and individual contributors.
Cloud Operations
- Lead the delivery and operation of OCI services supporting customers across Israel.
- Ensure service availability, reliability, scalability, and operational readiness across cloud infrastructure environments.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and operational best practices.
- Oversee incident management, change management, capacity planning, and operational governance processes.
- Monitor key operational metrics and implement initiatives that improve service performance and efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, product management, support, and infrastructure teams to improve service quality and customer experience.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support cloud growth initiatives and operational scaling.
- Represent the organization in executive reviews, operational discussions, and strategic planning activities.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading cloud operations, production operations, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering organizations.
Proven experience managing managers and geographically distributed technical teams.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, operational excellence, and service management practices.
Experience operating large-scale, highly available cloud services in enterprise environments.
Demonstrated success driving operational improvements through automation and process transformation.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
