This role leads global communications, social media, and content strategy, overseeing teams and agency partners. It involves developing corporate and executive narratives, driving storytelling, and leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation and team efficiency. The role requires a strategic advisor who is AI-curious and uses AI as a multiplier.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and evolve Pendo’s global communications strategy across media and influencer relations, social media, and content creation.
  2. Develop compelling corporate and executive narratives that connect Pendo’s mission, products, and market insights to broader industry and cultural conversations.
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and senior leaders.
  4. Drive strategic campaigns and proactive pitching that earn coverage in top-tier business and technology outlets.
  5. Oversee Pendo’s content strategy and ensure a consistent voice and high-quality storytelling across owned channels and events.

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS degree, with preference for communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of communications, PR, or editorial experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading integrated teams in high-growth B2B technology or SaaS environments.
  • Proven success developing global media strategies and securing top-tier coverage.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft narratives and content that resonate across audiences, channels, and platforms.
  • Experience supporting and coaching executives on messaging, thought leadership, and public speaking.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with mastery of journalistic and AP style.
