Datadog is seeking a Director, Compensation Programs to lead the design, implementation, and management of global compensation strategies. This role will ensure compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role involves leading strategy, design, and execution of compensation programs, overseeing operations, driving market competitiveness and pay equity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with leadership to deliver data-driven insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the strategy, design, and execution of global compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity
  2. Oversee end-to-end compensation operations, including annual cycles (merit, bonus, promotions, equity refresh) and incentive plan management
  3. Drive market competitiveness and pay equity through benchmarking, analytics, and continuous program evaluation
  4. Ensure compliance with compensation regulations while monitoring industry trends and evolving best practices
  5. Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights, while building and leading a high-performing compensation team
