This role is for a Director of Corporate Development & Ventures at MongoDB, responsible for shaping and executing the inorganic growth strategy through M&A and strategic investments. The role requires leading transactions end-to-end, evaluating opportunities within the data infrastructure and AI ecosystem, and building the corporate development capability to scale execution. It involves close partnership with Product, Engineering, and Finance leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own M&A and investment processes end-to-end, from initial engagement through close
  2. Build and pressure-test valuation, structure, and strategic rationale independently
  3. Run tight, focused diligence processes across technical, product, commercial, and financial dimensions

Skills

Required

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital
