Director of Cybersecurity Software Engineering & AI responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions that modernize cybersecurity operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and amplify the capabilities of the cybersecurity organization through intelligent automation and AI-driven tooling. This individual will lead a small, high-performing engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and intelligent software solutions that directly advance the organization’s cybersecurity mission and operational efficiency objectives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of software engineers, establishing a high-performance, comprehensive engineering culture.
  2. Champion and enforce secure software development practices aligned with modern cybersecurity standards, including OWASP guidelines, secure coding principles, and vulnerability management.
  3. Oversee planning and execution of software projects leveraging AI for workflow optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
  4. Manage GitHub repositories, utilize GitHub Copilot IDP integration, and own a cyber centric CI/CD pipeline designed for efficient, reliable, and auditable code delivery.
  5. Embed a cloud-first philosophy into all software development practices, ensuring solutions are architected to maximize the capabilities of cloud platforms while remaining compatible with on-premises environments where required.
