Director, Data Analysis
**Director, Data Analysis positions offered by Capital One, National Association (McLean, Virginia). **
- Responsible for driving the data management agenda for Capital One’s largest business division.
- Develop and execute on data management strategy.
- Define and monitor KRI’s and escalate areas of non-compliance as appropriate.
- Oversee the design and execution of data controls.
- Oversee data quality monitoring and data issue management practices.
- Monitor the health of data catalog metadata.
- Manage team of high performing data professionals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and 8 years of experience in performing data analytics.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 8 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 6 years of experience as stated.
- Requires 6 years of experience leading and developing with open-source data technologies.
- Also requires 4 years of experience managing people.
- Position reports to McLean, VA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
