Databricks is seeking a Sales Director for Strategic Accounts in the Retail and CPG verticals in Germany. The role involves leading and mentoring a team of Account Executives, driving growth through customer relationships, and scaling the team through hiring and coaching. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise sales leadership, a strong understanding of the Retail and CPG sectors, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading a team of Strategic Account Executives across the Retail and CPG verticals, you will be responsible for their continued success — mentoring, guiding, and empowering them to achieve and exceed their goals.
  2. You will drive growth by expanding relationships with our most important customers, with a primary focus on strategic account expansion
  3. You will strengthen and scale the team through high-impact hiring, hands-on coaching, and by fostering a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and results.
  4. You’ll leverage your business network to build a strong talent pipeline and hire top candidates as the team grows — raising the bar with every hire.
  5. Within your first 90 days, you’ll create a clear regional growth and investment plan, demonstrating a bias for action and a focus on measurable impact.
