Director, Ev Strategy and Operations

Ford Ford · Auto · Dearborn, United States +1 · General Management

This role is for a Director of EV Strategy and Operations at Ford, responsible for shaping and executing the company's global electric vehicle strategy through 2030. It requires extensive experience in corporate strategy, business operations, or management consulting, with a strong leadership background.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end development of Model e’s global EV strategy through 2030, defining where Ford plays, how Ford wins, and the roadmap to get there.
  2. Translate high-level strategy into operational reality by designing and leading the execution systems that move Ford's EV business from strategic intent to measurable market outcomes.
  3. Lead Ford’s response to its most complex, ambiguous EV challenges, including market positioning, product portfolio strategy, go-to-market models, international expansion, and competitive response.
  4. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, intellectually curious team of strategy and operations professionals, focusing on leading leaders rather than just individual contributors.
