Salesforce is seeking a Director to lead the Future of Work and Organizational Transformation in Japan. This role focuses on understanding the Japan market, reimagining work and organizational structures through the lens of AI and emerging technologies, and redefining Job Architecture. The position involves developing evidence-based frameworks for job design, applying HCI and cognitive science principles, and building data-driven capacity plans. The role requires deep expertise in organizational design, workforce strategy, and a strong understanding of the Japan market, with a focus on integrating AI to augment human work and drive transformation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop deep knowledge of Japan labor market dynamics, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances to ensure transformation strategies are locally relevant and sustainable
  2. Lead the strategic integration of AI and emerging technologies to fundamentally redefine jobs and organizational structures at Salesforce Japan
  3. Redefine Job Architecture for JPKT: Lead a ground-up reassessment of role design and job families across functions in Japan, incorporating insights from broader organizational transformation needs
  4. Build data-driven capacity planning models that reflect current and future workforce needs across JPKT, accounting for AI augmentation and business growth projections
  5. Partner with Key Stakeholders: Serve as a key thought partner to the following leaders and teams, connecting research and strategic insights to tangible business outcomes:
