What you'd actually do

  1. Establish a “true commercial desk” operating model (not ticket-taking)
  2. Define and enforce pricing guardrails, discount thresholds, and approval frameworks
  3. Standardize licensing practices (terms, extensions, migration policies)
  4. Define intake, triage, and escalation paths for all commercial requests
  5. Act as the central point of coordination between Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8-12 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Pricing, or Commercial Operations
  • 5-8 years of experience in a people leadership role
  • Experience in SaaS / subscription-based business models
  • Strong understanding of CPQ systems, deal structuring, and revenue recognition principles
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a global organization
