Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Global Compound Market Access Leader for Oncology. This role involves developing and driving market access strategies for products, representing market access within development teams, shaping strategic decisions through input into clinical development and evidence generation plans, and developing brand value propositions. The leader will collaborate with teams to ensure optimal reimbursement in challenging environments, understand market needs, and develop appropriate solutions. Responsibilities include leading the Compound Market Access Team, strategic planning for payer value generation, integrating pricing and health economic information, coordinating real-world evidence generation, developing integrated access strategies, ensuring clinical development programs capture product value for payers, designing health outcomes studies, educating commercial and R&D teams on access trends, providing leadership to the Clinical Development Team on market access data needs, managing market access budgets, developing expertise in market access drivers, and staying updated on scientific developments. The role also involves ensuring strategic alignment across regions and countries, mapping reimbursement pathways, engaging with external decision-makers, and partnering on payer research and scientific advice.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the Compound Market Access Team (CMAT), which includes the core functions within Global Market Access (i.e., Health Economics, Patient Reported Outcomes [PRO], Access Policy, Pricing, Real-World Evidence & Analytics) to deliver the global market access strategy & key value communication tools for the brand.
  2. Be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the payer value generation and access strategies aiming for an accelerated path to market.
  3. Serve as the leading resource on access strategies and is an active member of the global clinical and commercial product teams, as well as the disease area strategy groups.
  4. Be responsible for integrating pricing, payer research, health economic and epidemiology information to develop the optimal value strategy.
  5. Interact with Regional Market Access/Health Economics / Outcomes Research and Medical Affairs teams to coordinate and develop real world evidence generation in support of their access programs.
