What you'd actually do

  1. Define hardware system architecture across different groups within AMD organization.
  2. Recruit, mentor and lead high-performing teams of electrical, mechanical and thermal engineers to work together as a whole team.
  3. Lead the design team to own the end-to-end product development, including schematics capture, PCB layout, prototyping, validation, and production
  4. Investigate, hand-on debug and resolve next-gen PCIe, memory, and high-speed ethernet hardware issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
  5. Identify opportunities for hardware improvements and cost reductions.
