Seeking a Director, Head of Global Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and scaling of benefits programs across 20+ countries. This role ensures global benefits strategy is competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals, supporting a diverse and distributed workforce. Responsibilities include defining strategy, designing and scaling programs, overseeing operations, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, benchmarking, leading leave programs, leveraging data, communicating offerings, and building a team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and lead the global benefits strategy across all regions, ensuring alignment with company growth and talent priorities
  2. Design, implement, and scale benefits programs (health, wellness, retirement, time off, and perks) that are locally relevant and globally consistent
  3. Oversee global benefits operations, including vendor selection, broker management, renewals, and program administration
  4. Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, tax requirements, and reporting obligations across all markets
  5. Partner with Finance and People teams to manage benefits budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization

Skills

Required

  • 10–15+ years of experience in global benefits, including leadership of multi-country programs
  • Deep knowledge of international benefits design, compliance, and regional nuances (EMEA, APAC, AMER)
  • Experience scaling benefits in high-growth, global organizations
  • Strong vendor and broker management experience across multiple geographies
  • Proven ability to balance global consistency with local market needs
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in the technology sector or a fast-growing, distributed workforce
  • Familiarity with global benefits platforms and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
