Director, Head of People Partner for LATAM at Uber, responsible for end-to-end HR delivery, partnering with regional business leaders, managers, employees, and HR Business Partners to drive regional and overall strategic priorities in employee engagement. This role reports to the Global VP of People Partners & People Operations and collaborates with global teams on People & Places (P&P) topics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Co-design and deliver global people programs for Uber in LATAM.
  2. Consult with regional business leadership teams and HRBPs on regionally relevant people topics across the HR spectrum. Lead end-to-end delivery and execution of all cyclical people programs in the region
  3. Focus on continuous improvement by questioning the status quo and proactively finding opportunities to scale and optimize efficiency and effectiveness of our HR engagement model with the business and well as our people processes
  4. Align with regional CoEs on P&P programs and ensure consistency across all businesses in your region
  5. Partner with cross-functional teams in Finance and Legal to maintain compliance with local regulations

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of work experience in progressively senior roles
  • Experience in working with senior leadership to drive strategic HR topics across multiple businesses and functions at a regional/global level
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance
