What you'd actually do

  1. Support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for large-cap corporate clients across sectors, such as: buy and sell-side M&A and inclusive of crossborder transactions.
  2. Prepare materials for clients and participate in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution.
  3. Lead due diligence processes for investment banking transactions across sectors, such as: buy and sell-side M&A and inclusive of cross-border transactions.
  4. Work with analysts and associates on client coverage, origination and transaction execution teams.
  5. Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements and other documents related to investment banking transactions.

Skills

Required

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related
  • 5 years of experience in global investment banking
  • Experience executing investment banking transactions and processes in a global firm environment
  • Experience with M&A and capital markets products
  • Experience preparing financial analysis (valuation, LBO, DCF, etc.)
  • Experience conducting due diligence
  • Experience conducting research using financial data platforms (Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Refinitv)
  • Experience leading teams of junior investment bankers
