What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year strategy to modernize and optimize the administration of all employee leave types (e.g., FMLA, state/local leaves, short-term disability, paid parental leave) and accommodation requests (ADA).
  2. Lead the assessment and redesign of current Leave and Accommodations processes, leveraging industry best practices, automation, and shared services models to significantly improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.
  3. Ensure rigorous internal controls and audit mechanisms to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, and various state paid sick leave and parental leave laws.
  4. Lead, mentor, and develop the current Leave and Accommodations team, fostering a culture of high performance, compliance expertise, empathy, and service excellence.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, Legal, Benefits, Payroll, and Safety teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.
