Director, Monetization Strategy

Iterable Iterable · Enterprise · United States · Remote · Product

This role is focused on developing and executing pricing and packaging strategies for an AI-powered customer engagement platform. The Director will lead the monetization roadmap, design product bundles, and partner with various teams to ensure the company captures value effectively. While the platform uses AI, the role itself is not directly building or researching AI models but rather strategizing around their commercialization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the long-term monetization roadmap. You’ll evolve our current models from usage-based pricing toward value-based frameworks that reflect the power of our AI-driven orchestration.
  2. Act as the "connective tissue" between Product (to price new features, and ensure our roadmap is optimized for capturing value), Marketing (to position value), and Sales (to ensure deal velocity).
  3. Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis and buyer research to identify gaps in our current monetization strategy and capitalize on emerging market trends.
  4. Design and optimize product bundles and editions that simplify the buying process for mid-market and enterprise customers alike.
  5. Partner with RevOps to implement pricing changes within our systems (CPQ, billing) and develop the discounting frameworks and "guardrails" for the field.
