Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Business, or a related field
  • 8 years of relevant experience in government affairs, financial services policy, fintech regulation or a related field
  • Deep familiarity with financial services regulation, banking policy, fintech innovation, or payments systems
  • Experience working with Congress and/or federal regulators overseeing financial services, identity verification or technology issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders
  • Strong ability to translate complex policy developments into clear strategic insights for senior leadership
  • Self-starter with sound judgment, high integrity, and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

  • mix of public sector (e.g., Capitol Hill or federal agency) and private sector (corporate or association) experience
  • Experience engaging on financial services or fintech policy issues on Capitol Hill or within federal regulatory agencies

  • Experience working at the intersection of technology policy and financial regulation
