Seeking a Director of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function at Jump Trading, a world-class financial markets research firm. This role involves developing brand strategy, creating marketing infrastructure, and crafting compelling narratives about complex technical achievements to attract top talent and reinforce industry leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive employer brand strategy encompassing branding, PR, and retention initiatives
  2. Build marketing operations infrastructure from the ground up, establishing processes, workflows, and measurement frameworks
  3. Drive data-informed decision making across all initiatives
  4. Serve as the strategic voice with the backbone to evaluate and prioritize competing initiatives
  5. Define and manage unified brand messaging across digital and real-world channels

Skills

Required

  • At least 10 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven track record building marketing functions in complex, technical environments
  • Deep expertise across brand strategy, PR, social media, content marketing, and creative development
  • Experience in financial services, technology or other highly-technical industries
  • Strong project management skills with ability to influence at the executive level
  • Data proficiency with experience building measurement frameworks and analytics
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with visual storytelling capabilities
  • Collaborative leadership style with confidence to make tough decisions and push back when needed
  • Bachelor's degree required
