Seeking a Director of Networking Hardware Sourcing to lead strategy and execution for critical infrastructure components supporting Oracle Cloud (OCI) and on-premises platforms. This leader will own end-to-end sourcing strategy across key networking hardware categories and manage a team responsible for supplier relationships, cost optimization, and supply continuity at global scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals responsible for networking hardware categories (e.g., switches, optics, and related components).
  2. Define and execute global commodity strategies to optimize cost, performance, and supply continuity across the product lifecycle—from new product introduction (NPI) through end-of-life.
  3. Serve as the primary executive interface for key suppliers, driving strategic partnerships, performance management, and long-term capacity planning.
  4. Partner with Engineering to support product development, including supplier selection, RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), and design-for-supply-chain initiatives.
  5. Negotiate complex supply agreements, pricing structures, and contractual terms aligned with Oracle standards.
