The Director of Operations for Launched Effects at Anduril will own all aspects of business operations and infrastructure for a major business line, acting as a chief strategist to balance resource and execution risk against growth plans. This role involves translating growth signals into demand across operational infrastructure, managing the business line's governance structure, evolving the organizational structure, and executing special projects. The role supports the development and operation of aerial small drones and related equipment, working closely with end users and stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own all aspects of business operations and infrastructure, ensuring business development, engineering, and production teams have what they need when they need it to execute
  2. Serve as the General Manager’s chief strategist to balance resource and execution risk against our massive growth plans, regularly monitoring financials to help guide us toward our profitability targets
  3. Translate growth signals into demand across all operational infrastructure including staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Anduril to deliver
  4. Own the business line’s governance structure from business reviews to annual planning and employee onboarding to all hands, developing and evolving information pathways as the organization scales
  5. Collaborate closely with division leadership to evolve the organizational structure and define and implement strong hiring, onboarding, and execution standards for key functions so we maintain a culture of “doing things differently”
