Okta is seeking a Director of Paid Media to lead their Global Paid Media team. This role will focus on designing and executing full-funnel paid media strategies across multiple channels to drive pipeline growth for Auth0 and Okta brands. The candidate will lead a global team, manage a significant budget, and integrate AI-driven tools into media buying and reporting workflows. This is a leadership role requiring extensive experience in B2B SaaS paid digital marketing and a strong understanding of AI's role in marketing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and mentor a high-performing global team of paid media leaders, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  2. Design and execute sophisticated, multi-channel paid media roadmaps (Search, Social, Programmatic, ABM) that drive measurable pipeline for the Auth0 and Okta brands.
  3. Act as a key partner to Sales, Product, and Finance, effectively communicating the impact of paid media on the broader business objectives.
  4. Lead the charge in integrating AI-driven tools and methodologies into our media buying, creative optimization, and reporting workflows.
  5. Build and refine scalable processes and frameworks to ensure global consistency while allowing for regional nuances and agility.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years in Paid Digital Marketing
  • 8+ years of people management experience
  • B2B SaaS experience
  • Deep technical knowledge of the paid media landscape
  • Experience in Looker, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and advanced CRM workflows & integrations
  • Exceptional communication skills
