Director of Product Design, Genstudio

Adobe Adobe · Enterprise · San Francisco, CA +1

Director of Product Design for Adobe GenStudio, focusing on defining and expanding GenAI-powered creative, marketing, and automation workflows for enterprise customers. The role involves leading a design team, driving strategy, and collaborating with research, product, and engineering executives to create end-to-end experiences.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the design vision for Adobe GenStudio, centered on AI-first, agentic workflows. Champion the evolution from traditional creative editing to intelligence-layer design—where AI, data, and human creativity intersect.
  2. Act as a player/coach: rolling up your sleeves to prototype, tinker, and experiment, while also elevating and mentoring a team of designer.
  3. Lead end-to-end design across core areas of GenStudio. Partner with engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and performant.
  4. Champion a tinkerer’s mindset: experimenting with prototypes, emerging UI patterns (chat + canvas + editor), and new generative AI capabilities. Create spaces for rapid experimentation (Labs-style pilots, internal playtesting, customer co-design).
  5. Translate evolving customer insights and enterprise feedback into actionable design strategies with a focus on short and long-term impact. Advocate for marketer needs and ensure design decisions are grounded in research and real-world usage.
