Director of Product Management for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), a critical component of Microsoft's security portfolio. This role involves owning the product strategy, roadmap, customer relationships, and competitive narrative for MDE, a leading endpoint protection solution. The Director will lead a global PM organization, drive execution with engineering and research teams, and ensure seamless integration with other Microsoft security offerings. Required

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years people management experience

  • 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework)

  • Demonstrated product leadership in endpoint security, EDR/XDR, or threat protection (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto), with deep understanding of the modern threat landscape — ransomware, advanced persistent threats, and the adversary tactics enterprises defend against
  • Proven ability to engage credibly with CISOs, SOC/security-operations teams, threat researchers, and security engineers, translating real-world defender needs into product strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Sufficient technical fluency in endpoint architecture, detection-and-response, and security efficacy to "go deep" with engineering and threat-research teams on hard trade-offs — paired with the strategic instincts to run a multi-billion-dollar business
