This role focuses on operational planning and execution for a healthcare company leveraging AI, specifically integrating GenAI into core workflows to automate administrative tasks and streamline processes. The Director will lead end-to-end operations, identify and resolve risks, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams, and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the end-to-end operational planning for a diverse portfolio, including Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs), digital product rollouts, and the integration of GenAI into core workflows
  2. Identify and resolve execution risks and bottlenecks; partner cross-functionally to re-engineer processes for scalability
  3. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to define and implement features—with a specific focus on evaluating GenAI opportunities to automate administrative burdens and streamline handoffs
  4. Own high-impact projects directly while overseeing dedicated team members and workstream leads; step in to provide deep-dive analysis and problem-solving whenever necessary
  5. Define, track, and report on success metrics (KPIs/OKRs), ensuring all initiatives align with broader business objectives

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of operating experience with a proven track record of exceeding KPIs in high-growth, complex environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Proven ability to evaluate Generative AI use cases within operational workflows
  • Expert at distilling complex, technical issues into concrete, actionable plans for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Ability to analyze complex data, create clear visualizations, and present insights effectively to stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset that thrives in rapidly evolving environments and can move internal and external partners toward quick, effective resolutions

Nice to have

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
