Director, Partner Account Manager - Accenture Apj

This role is for a strategic alliance leader to manage the Databricks partnership with Accenture in the APJ region. The goal is to drive consumption growth of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, maximize the impact of the Accenture Databricks Business Group, and build a joint go-to-market strategy. The role requires deep understanding of system integrators, cloud ecosystems, and data and AI transformation, engaging with C-level executives to translate strategy into executable plans and measurable business outcomes. The impact includes aligning regional priorities, driving partner-led consumption, leading joint business planning and co-selling, overseeing joint data and AI solutions, and representing Databricks at executive levels.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the primary Databricks leader into the Accenture Databricks Business Group for APJ, aligning regional priorities, offerings and investments with Databricks sales and product strategy.
  2. Translate the global strategy of the Accenture Databricks Business Group into a concrete European execution plan, including target industries, lighthouse wins and repeatable solution plays.
  3. Partner with Accenture Databricks Business Group leadership to ensure clear swim‑lanes, complementary offerings and a unified story to customers and hyperscalers.
  4. Drive partner‑led consumption and adoption of Databricks, ensuring clear contribution to revenue, new logos and customer success.
  5. Lead joint business planning and co‑selling initiatives with Accenture, ensuring alignment with their strategic accounts and go‑to‑market solutions.

Skills

Required

  • Enterprise software, data/analytics or cloud experience
  • Alliances, GSI leadership or partner ecosystem development experience
  • Experience building and leading strategic partnerships with Accenture or comparable global systems integrator
  • Experience in data and AI technologies and their application to large-scale business transformation programmes
  • Experience working with cloud providers, ISVs, and key industry partners on joint go-to-market strategies, co-selling and co-investment
  • Ability to influence C-level executives, global partner organisations and cross-functional internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of the APJ market landscape, GSI dynamics
  • Experience leading geographically distributed, virtual teams
  • Communication, negotiation and executive presence skills
