Director, People Rewards, Operations & Systems

Suno Suno · Multimodal · Boston, MA · People

This role is a founding position on Suno's People Team, focusing on total rewards, compensation, benefits, and operations. The ideal candidate is a systems architect who can build and automate HR functions from the ground up, ensuring they are compliant and human-centered. The role involves designing compensation strategies, managing benefits, streamlining the employee lifecycle, and leveraging AI tools for HR systems and automation. The company is a leader in AI music and a fast-growing consumer entertainment platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and continuously refine Suno’s compensation philosophy in alignment with our performance culture and long-term business strategy.
  2. Develop best-in-class standard operating procedures across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, employment verification, leave administration, immigration, relocation, compliance, and documentation.
  3. Lead migration or overhaul of HRIS systems where needed.
  4. Use AI tools to model scenarios, automate workflows, generate reporting, and improve service quality.
  5. Build dashboards and analytics that surface meaningful insights — not vanity metrics.
