Director, Procurement CCPM MedTech role at Johnson & Johnson, responsible for leading a team and managing approximately $1B in annual capital spend for MedTech sector infrastructure projects. The role involves developing category strategies, stakeholder management, supplier selection, and cost improvement initiatives within a regulated environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, partner or collaborate with project teams comprising internal functions (Engineering, QA, SCM, Finance, Legal) and external partners, to design & execute sourcing, supplier selection, and supplier relationship initiatives delivering optimal speed, supply reliance, safe & reliable services, timelines and total cost
  2. Develop & shape category & spend performance strategies utilizing all available capabilities & tools (category strategy, market intelligence, advanced sourcing)
  3. Provide procurement leadership to stakeholders and business partners; connect resources and partner capabilities for key capital and infrastructure projects focused on MedTech, Infrastructure
  4. Develop cost improvement / avoidance initiatives through category strategies, sourcing, SRM and innovation
  5. Shape & enhance competence and capabilities of the team

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree (Business, Engineering, Science)
  • 10+ years relevant professional experience
  • Strategic procurement, sourcing, category and supplier management experience in the supply chain environment
  • Experience working with technical, supply chain and functional partners
  • Strong business and finance acumen, and experience managing impact in complex matrix environment
  • Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, and cross-functional project capability
  • Ability to engage, interact, and negotiate enhanced value relationships with suppliers
  • Experience in a regulated, complex stakeholder environment; rich influencing skills

Nice to have

  • MBA or other master’s preferred
  • Exposure to MedTech and/or global markets is desirable
