Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Operations & Delivery to lead the capability that bridges business process and product execution across Digital Enterprise Technology. This role will serve as a key thought leader in product management evolution on their agentification journey, coordinate structured frameworks for product and software development, and provide product operations within large-scale initiatives. The director will build and develop a high-performing team and partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Change Management leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, lead, and develop the Product Operations & Delivery organization — including hiring strategy, role definition, performance management, and career development
  2. Define and continuously evolve the operating model for requirements intake, backlog governance, quality standards, and delivery readiness criteria across DET
  3. Establish best practices and structured approach with the tools used for Product Development Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle
  4. Evolve agentification and AI tool enablement to the team and program operating model
  5. Help drive the definition of product requirements intake and prioritization within program structures

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Delivery, or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • 5+ years of executing major product-centric initiatives
  • Strong expertise in Agile / Scrum and product delivery operating models
  • Proven experience translating business processes into scalable product requirements
  • Deep experience with execution management tools (e.g., JIRA, GUS, Airtable or equivalents)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or large-scale enterprise technology environments
  • Proficiency in using AI enablement tools (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini, or equivalents)
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Miro, or similar collaboration and documentation tools
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing practices
  • Experience supporting large-scale business transformation or operating model change
  • A related technical degree
