What you'd actually do

  1. Define, own, and execute the business strategy, pricing, packaging, and commercial plan for the new platform, driving the product toward aggressive revenue and adoption targets
  2. Own the roadmap and strategic vision, ensuring alignment with PitchBook's corporate strategy, market opportunity, and competitive landscape
  3. Partner with other leaders to optimize staffing plans across Product, Design, and Engineering
  4. Define the necessary staffing and resource planning for the product team (Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science) required to launch the MVP, reach product-market fit, and scale the business line effectively
  5. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Product Managers responsible for day-to-day execution, fostering a culture of high performance, experimentation, and deep customer empathy

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of progressive product management experience
  • at least 7 years of direct management experience
  • Deep, credible understanding of the Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Investment Banking ecosystem
  • Ability to synthesize market research, competitive analysis, and ambiguous customer data into a clear, defensible product strategy
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow product management talent
  • Strong technical foundation; capable of driving strategic discussions on data architecture, machine learning applications, and enterprise system integration
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
