What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and drive the strategy and roadmap of Twilio’s phone number products, taking into account Twilio’s global growth strategy, regulatory needs, and scalable operations that make our customers successful on Twilio
  2. Collaborate cross-functionally with GTM, Legal, and the rest of Communications Product teams to ensure alignment on the best strategic direction and market opportunities
  3. Launch innovative phone number products from the infrastructure layer up and lead critical new initiatives for Twilio that open up new markets
  4. Be the voice of the customer in every conversation and decision, and ensure we build world class products that our customers love and value
  5. Manage a global team of product managers and mentor them to succeed in building and executing to the vision

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 10+ years of Product Management or related experience building customer-facing cloud products for businesses (B2B) or developers
  • Experience growing a team of product managers
  • Experience with highly technical, multi-workstream product launches; distributed systems experience a plus
  • You can translate between the technical details, customer problems, and business impact of the team’s work
  • You are a strong communicator.
  • You are organized and comfortable working with exec-level stakeholders and drive deep customer relationships.
  • You can build highly leveraged products that can be used as the cornerstone for customers and internal teams alike.
  • You’re not shy about diving in deep with engineering, sales, legal, or the customer.
  • You can run a tight ship, prioritizing a robust stream of work into cohesive, incremental releases
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

  • Experience building products/services related to APIs, developer experience
  • Experience working with telecommunications or other regulated ecosystems
