Director, Product Marketing for Microsoft Plus, focusing on driving adoption, engagement, and retention of Microsoft's consumer apps and services on Windows and mobile through product-led growth strategies and in-product experiments. What you'd actually do

  1. Define and lead the vision and strategy for product-led growth across Microsoft's apps and services on Windows and mobile, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities to drive awareness and adoption at scale.
  2. Partner directly with multiple engineering organizations across Microsoft to design, execute, and iterate on in-product experiments — including onboarding flows, cross-app discovery, notifications, and other product surfaces — using hypothesis-driven experimentation to move adoption and engagement metrics.
  3. Lead inbound marketing efforts to understand user needs, jobs to be done, and market opportunities, and partner with engineering teams to inform what product experiences should be built.
  4. Drive outbound marketing for apps and services on Windows, primarily through email and web channels, to build awareness and nurture engagement among existing Windows and mobile users.
  5. Lead, coach, and develop a team of product marketers, fostering a high-performance, inclusive team culture grounded in Microsoft's values.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field
  • 4+ years experience in product marketing or growth marketing
  • 4+ years people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams)
