Director, Product Marketing Manager for Windows 365 Inbound, responsible for defining inbound strategy, messaging, narrative, competitive strategy, and product partnerships for Desktop as a Service (DaaS). This role involves guiding product shaping based on market landscape and customer needs, crafting the overarching story for Cloud PC, and integrating AI narratives into product messaging. The role requires leading a team of product marketers, driving product marketing strategy, owning positioning and value propositions, and collaborating with various internal teams (Product Management, Engineering, Sales, PR, etc.) for launch excellence and sustained growth. The role also involves contributing to internal communications about Windows Cloud + AI strategy.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a high-performing team of product marketers, setting clear direction and priorities, coaching for impact, and raising the bar on strategic thinking, execution, and cross-functional influence.
  2. Drive the product marketing strategy across Windows Cloud solutions, including Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  3. Own the end-to-end positioning, value propositions, and compete strategy
  4. Work across the marketing and GTM (Go to Market) teams to ensure GTM meets business goals, and influence full funnel from awareness to consideration, purchase, deployment, and usage.
  5. Develop and maintain core assets such as pitch decks, demos, videos, roadmap decks, etc. to be used by the field in customer conversations.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams)
  • Product leadership and cross functional influence, leading product programs, partnering closely with engineering, shaping product roadmaps, and driving alignment across teams and executive stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strategic, customer centric mindset with analytical problem solving skills and expertise in leveraging market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product and marketing direction.
  • Go to market execution expertise, including launch strategies, positioning, messaging, field enablement, and demand generation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical product concepts into compelling narratives for non-technical, technical, and executive audience.
  • External product representation and evangelism, including analyst briefings, press interviews, industry events, and customer engagements.
