  1. Own the end-to-end global product strategy for the SMB segment across relevant offerings (card issuing, money movement, value-added services, emerging digital solutions).
  2. Design and lead a structured operating model that connects global product strategy with regional execution.
  3. Represent SMB needs in Visa’s global product planning and innovation forums.
  4. Shape and guide SMB-related investments and resource allocation.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years of work experience with an Advanced Degree or 3+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • 12+ years in product strategy, product management, or go-to-market roles within payments, financial services, or fintech, with significant focus on small business (SMB) or commercial segments.
  • Deep understanding of B2B payment products, platforms, and value-added services
  • Proven ability to craft and drive a product or segment strategy at scale.
  • Comfortable operating at a strategic level (big-picture vision, segment positioning) while also ensuring operational plans and processes are in place for execution across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams and product roadmaps without direct authority.
  • Experience building governance structures or operating forums that facilitate decision-making and accountability.
  • Strong commercialization skill set.
  • Experience launching or scaling new products, developing value propositions, and aligning product offerings with sales strategies.

Nice to have

  • familiarity with emerging trends (e.g. digital assets, AI-driven payments, embedded finance) is a plus.
