What you'd actually do

  1. Plan and execute Non‑Advocate Reviews (NARs), Program Start‑Up Reviews (PSRs), and Independent Reviews for the sector.
  2. Ensure each review team is staffed with competent subject matter experts (SMEs), and that review processes and tools effectively assess risks, opportunities, and program executability.
  3. Brief NAR, PSR, and Independent Review Team (IRT) results to division, sector, and corporate executives, as required.
  4. Coordinate with the Corporate NAR team, as required.
  5. Maintain and strengthen the Program Management Principles and Operating Practices (PrOP) and manage requirements that flow down to programs within the sector.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience, or a master's degree and 8 years of related experience
  • Professional and/or military experience in program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management–related functions
  • 3 years in a program or project leadership role
  • Experience leading a multi‑functional team
  • Demonstrated Program Management Framework (PMF) Acumen
  • Thorough knowledge of program management for development, production, and sustainment programs
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, and persuasively in both verbal and written form with executive leadership
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support on‑site reviews
  • Active US Government Secret clearance (or higher) that is in scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
  • Ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) within a reasonable time, as determined by business needs

Nice to have

  • Experience as a Program Manager on a proposal team that completed a NAR
  • Experience as a P&L Program Manager
  • Active, in‑scope US Government Top Secret clearance
  • Current/active Special Program Access (SAP)
