This role is for a Director of Real Estate Operations in the Asia Pacific region for Microsoft. It involves managing the full lifecycle of the real estate portfolio, including transactions, facilities management, construction projects, and workplace services. The role requires people management, budget accountability, client relationship management, oversight of construction and real estate projects, continuous improvement, and facilities and services management. The position is based in either Singapore or Sydney and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

What you'd actually do

  1. Directing the full life cycle of the real estate portfolio for Microsoft’s Asia Pacific region.
  2. Oversees managing a team of employees and vendors that deliver real estate transactions, facilities management, construction projects and workplace services while ensuring compliance with legal and financial standards in support of company goals.
  3. Manage, lead, and develop direct reports including clearly communicating performance standards; ensuring that all team members have annual, measurable priorities and that all employees receive timely, performance reviews against those commitments; and ensuring that team members have updated career development plans and receive appropriate career coaching.
  4. Fully accountable for the execution of the regional budget.
  5. Oversees and guides the team of construction and project management.
