Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Regional Health Economics Market Access (RHEMA) Surgery, APAC. This role focuses on MedTech implants and enabling technologies within the Surgery business. The Director will lead and guide cross-functional teams to build and execute integrated market access strategies, leveraging health economics and value creation for the adoption and payment of Surgery MedTech innovation. Responsibilities include overseeing HTA strategy, evidence generation, engaging with external stakeholders, optimizing NPI Target Product Profiles, and leading a team of HEMA personnel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and guide Global and Regional cross-functional NPI teams on critical and strategic integrated market access assessment and requirements for optimising prioritised APAC commercialisation.
  2. Oversee local teams HTA strategy and execution to generate coded coverage reimbursement aligned to all high priority Surgery technology and associated procedures, obliging financial metrics.
  3. Lead and Guide Global and Regional cross-functional teams on mandatory evidence requirements to oblige APAC prioritised market access with payment from all payers for Surgeon adoption of MedTech innovation aligned to patient treatment.
  4. Proactively collaborate with Global HEMA (GHEMA) and respective cross-functional partners internally to execute APAC aligned economic and clinical real-world evidence (RWE) generation (e.g., retrospective EMR studies, time-and-motion studies, quality improvement analyses).
  5. Partner with local and APAC cluster HEMA leaders to engage externally with market hospital administrators, surgeons & surgical societies to identify evidence that will demonstrate APAC market specific clinical, procedural and economic value of J&J MedTech Surgery products.
