Director, Signature Success Plan Sales

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Success Plan Sales to lead a specialist sales team in growing the Success Plan business alongside every Salesforce license opportunity. The role involves driving bookings, accurate forecasting, creating sales strategies, engaging with C-level executives, developing and coaching the sales team, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading high-growth sales portfolios, managing quota-carrying sales reps, strong people leadership, executive relationship skills, and a track record in technology sales, preferably in services or support sales.

What you'd actually do

  1. Driving bookings and exceeding ACV targets to grow the Success Plan business
  2. Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management
  3. Creating and gaining executive agreement on a Success Plan sales strategy that is co-owned by Core & Cloud license Sales and Success organizations
  4. Engaging at the C-level in enterprise customer organizations to position the value of Success Plans
  5. Developing a winning Success Plan Sales team, including recruiting, hiring, and developing sales talent

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated experience leading a high growth portfolio of sales focused on Enterprise customers
  • Previous experience managing a team of quota carrying sales reps
  • Proven people leadership skills to develop, drive, and motivate ICs
  • Proven ability to front executive relationships (internal and external)
  • Consistent track record of accomplishment in successfully managing ideally a services, and support sales organization - or license sales - in the technology sector
  • Demonstrated ability to create and communicate a clear and inspiring vision for growth
  • Capable of maturing a high-growth business and teams
  • Ability to collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment, effectively working with senior executives in a matrix organization
