Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · IN, KA, Bengaluru · Project/Program/Product Management--Non-Tech

This Director role at Amazon focuses on leading vendor management for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) within the Retail Business Services (RBS) division. The position involves managing both paid (AVS) and non-paid (MVR) vendor programs across global marketplaces, aiming to drive profitable growth, improve vendor experience, and leverage technology, including GenAI automation, for productivity and fraud detection. The role requires strategic leadership, P&L management, stakeholder influence, and people management for a large, globally distributed team.

  2. Establish and own the P&L for Torso/Tail vendors; build a shadow P&L and drive key input metrics (inventory, pricing, selection, deals) to drive business growth and profitability
  3. Define and execute the multi-year growth agenda — expanding Torso/Tail vendor coverage globally, scaling to new marketplaces, and reimagining delivery models
  4. Build Best-in-Class AVS service — enabling vendor growth through Vendor Growth Plans (VGPs)
  5. Lead MVR growth engine — recruit and ramp new brands, reduce activation time, and drive FCF
