Director, Solution Engineering for Nvidia Experience

Seeking a Director of Solution Engineering to support NVIDIA's AI server products for customers (CSPs, enterprises, OEMs). The role involves defining priorities, driving execution, collaborating with customers on high-performance solutions, and establishing planning/reporting frameworks. Responsibilities include direct customer support, RMA operations, developing metrics, mentoring, and applying agentic AI skills to improve team processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide direct support to our NVIDIA customers to resolve or advance customer solutions and issues.
  2. Drive RMA Operations excellence, CRM roadmaps, and interface with partners.
  3. Develop and implement metrics to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement; collect and analyze data to support planning and data-driven decisions.
  4. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, finding opportunities for process enhancements
  5. Participate in the creation, maintenance, and versioning of documentation related to enterprise support processes, procedures, and associated guidelines.
  6. Apply agentic AI skills to create new standard processes, find ways to improve how the team works together and with other teams, lead teams and projects.
  7. Mentor new engineers and interns. Nurture employees, so they can do their life’s work.

Skills

Required

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 15+ overall years of hardware and/or software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and moderate successful interactions with engineering partners, vendors, and customers
  • Professional-level communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills

Nice to have

  • Background in computer science and GPU technology
  • Prior experience in production application software development, server architecture, or creating AI Tools
  • Experience in working directly with customers
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements, measuring efficiency, sharing knowledge and experience in managing sophisticated projects from start to finish
