NVIDIA is seeking a Director of Storage Sourcing (NAND/SSD/Embedded) to lead procurement initiatives, design analytical tools, and generate market intelligence reports. This role involves strategy, market study, and expenditure review, requiring an upbeat leader to develop long-term sourcing plans aligned with market trends. The candidate will simplify complex data into actionable insights and collaborate with executives on supplier decisions, commercial agreements, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is skilled in developing commodity strategies, has executive industry relationships, and experience leading sourcing for major enterprise areas. Strong analytical capabilities and technical knowledge in the Memory/Storage sector are essential. Experience revamping commodity management teams, managing supplier collaborations, and contributing value to operations and engineering units is expected.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and complete strategic sourcing plans for NAND, SSD, and embedded storage components, aligned with product roadmaps and business requirements.
  2. Lead RFIs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing engagements for custom and high-complexity storage solutions.
  3. Serve as the technical interface between procurement and engineering, translating storage technology requirements into sourcing strategies.
  4. Analyze spend, cost structures, and market dynamics to identify optimization and cost-reduction opportunities in storage procurement.
  5. Assess supplier capabilities, cost models, and competitive positioning to inform sourcing and negotiation strategies.
