Databricks is seeking a Director, Strategic Accounts for their Logistics and Tech verticals in Germany. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of Strategic Account Executives, driving customer expansion, hiring top talent, and ensuring accurate forecasting and disciplined execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in enterprise sales leadership within Data, AI, Cloud, or SaaS/Tech companies, with deep knowledge of the Logistics vertical and strong relationships with strategic accounts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading a team of high performing Strategic Account Executives across the Logistics and Tech verticals, you will be responsible for their continued success — mentoring, guiding, and empowering them to achieve and exceed their goals.
  2. You will drive growth by expanding relationships with our most important customers, with a primary focus on strategic account expansion.
  3. You will strengthen and scale the team through high-impact hiring, hands-on coaching, and by fostering a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and results.
  4. You’ll leverage your network to build a strong talent pipeline and hire exceptional sales leaders as the team grows — raising the bar with every hire.
  5. You’ll build and sponsor trusted, executive-level relationships with customers and partners to drive long-term success — staying relentlessly customer-obsessed.
