Okta is seeking a Director, Strategic Delivery to join their Professional Services team. This role will oversee a strategic portfolio of complex customer implementations with GSI partners, architect and refine the GSI delivery model, and support sales cycles for strategic deals. The position requires strong leadership, process design, and enterprise SaaS implementation experience, with a focus on driving outcomes through influence and structured governance.

What the JD emphasized

  • 10–12+ years of professional experience in enterprise SaaS implementation, technical program management, or strategic IT consulting
  • Proven track record of successfully guiding large-scale, complex enterprise deployments in joint-delivery models with major GSIs
  • Direct experience partnering with enterprise software sales and service sales teams to structure complex services deals, negotiate SOWs, and define joint delivery boundaries
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a proven ability to confidently lead high-pressure steering committees and align C-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience designing, documenting, and scaling repeatable PMO playbooks, delivery methodologies, and operational enablement assets
  • Masterful ability to lead, motivate, and orchestrate highly matrixed, senior cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external partners) without direct hierarchical authority
