Director of Portfolio & Technical Program Management to lead enterprise-scale portfolio governance and execution across product & engineering sub-pillars in Digital Enterprise Technology’s Salesforce on Salesforce organization. This leader will drive strategic alignment, execution rigor, and operational excellence across complex, multi-cloud programs, particularly across platform, AI, Agents, and enterprise transformation initiatives. The role oversees a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for delivering large, cross-functional initiatives spanning products such as Quote to Cash, Orders, Entitlements, Provisioning, and AI/Agent-driven capabilities. Requires deep expertise in scaling SaaS platforms, leading through influence, and building world-class program management disciplines in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and operationalize portfolio management frameworks that align investments to Salesforce’s highest value strategic priorities.
  2. Drive execution of large-scale, cross-cloud technical programs including AI platform capabilities, infrastructure modernization, and platform scalability initiatives.
  3. Lead a team of TPMs. Multiply talent: Actively mentor and develop leaders in your organization.
  4. Serve as a trusted advisor to Sr. Director, VP, and SVP stakeholders internal to SFonSF Technology and across our business teams of stakeholders.
  5. Champion standardized program management and work management tooling, governance, and best practices across global teams.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of program management experience with a proven track record of delivering business value.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in technical leadership
  • Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-product, enterprise-scale programs.
  • Demonstrated ability managing large technology portfolios with complex operational aspects.
  • Experience engaging SVP-level stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong financial and operational literacy.
  • Experience connecting technology delivery output to business outcomes and market impact.
  • Experience leading annual planning, capacity modeling, and investment prioritization at scale.
  • Cross-functional expertise required; Ability to navigate complex structures beyond your team, understanding how Technology, Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue operate.
